Next.IU faculty generative AI tool pilot

Limited to 100 instructors, and the priority deadline is June 6th!

Indiana University offers many Generative AI tools to faculty, students, and staff. This 10-week summer pilot program is designed to solicit feedback on ChatGPT, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and Google Gemini tools, as well as the Canvas AI early adopter program. This pilot is limited to 100 instructors.

Beyond the Page: Building Connection and Visibility in Writing Classrooms

Join visiting scholar Elle Zhao for a guided reflection on writing pedagogy

Yan (Elle) Zhao, a visiting scholar at IU who teaches English writing at Shandong Agricultural University (China), will guide participants through a reflection on writing pedagogy. She will discuss what it means to put our focus on our relationships with learners and to create authentic communication opportunities. Drawing from Expansive Framing Theory, the facilitator will introduce several strategies she uses in her own teaching.
