Join visiting scholar Elle Zhao for a guided reflection on writing pedagogy
Yan (Elle) Zhao, a visiting scholar at IU who teaches English writing at Shandong Agricultural University (China), will guide participants through a reflection on writing pedagogy. She will discuss what it means to put our focus on our relationships with learners and to create authentic communication opportunities. Drawing from Expansive Framing Theory, the facilitator will introduce several strategies she uses in her own teaching.
